The Activate service provides a detailed analysis of the capability of an organisation’s IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and links them to its specific short to medium-term objectives - in other words, its “Essence”.
What differentiates this assessment mechanism from more generic maturity-oriented models, is the ability to score against seventeen ITSM processes in six dimensions (as opposed to ten and two). The assessments are automated and consistent in their analysis enabling retesting in a cost effective manner with the same testing methodology removing any subjective human styles.
